NEARMUG and Global Knowledge are pleased to continue their partnership again for the 2008 Conference.  This year, we are pleased to offer....

Course 365 VoIP Technologies

NOTE:  This course does not  complete until Wednesday at 3:30 pm.  Please make your travel plans accordingly. 

It's time to take your Nortel education to the next level and register for VoIP Technologies.  If you have started working with VoIP or have plans to incorporate VoIP into your business, you need to take this course!  Global Knowledge will be onsite conducting its popular VoIP Technologies course.  This is the same course you would take at a Global Knowledge facility.  You'll have the opportunity to test for your certification right after the course.  In addition, you'll be able to take part in the conference.  Be at the Keynote Address, participate in the social networking activities, sit in on a couple of workshops, take a Professional Development Session and be at the Trade Show!

The costs for this course are only $600 for INNUA Members ($700 for non-members).  This includes the entire course plus the conference.  The course will run Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Course registrants will focus the majority of their NEARMUG Conference on the completion of this course and will be limited to other workshop sessions, but you will have access to the other conference offerings including our Sunday Professional Development Sessions.

Attendees need to plan to be onsite until Wednesday at 3:30.  Please make a note of the schedule when planning your travel!  Class schedule is as follows:

  • Monday March 17: 10:30-Noon, 1:00-3:30
  • Tuesday March 18: 10:30-Noon, 1:00-3:30
  • Wednesday March 19; 9:30-3:30 (lunch break will occur around noon)

This training is designed for design and support specialists with a working knowledge of voice and data who need the fundamentals of Voice over IP technologies including:

  • Major components of the VoIP Network
  • Voice Packetization
  • Voice Quality
  • Bandwidth
  • Trafic convergence issues
  • VoIP Standardization and protocols
  • Network assessment

Courses may be cancelled if minimum occupancy is not met, however, Global Knowledge courses at NEARMUG have historically sold out.  If NEARMUG and/or Global Knowledge needs to cancel for any reason, you will be notified in advance and be eligible for a refund of the difference between the conference costs and the course costs ($325 members/non-members).  For all other refund/cancellation policies, see the registration form.
