The Jeanne Gorski Memorial Award

It's Your Chance to receive Complementary Registration and Hotel Accommodations to Attend NEARMUG 2009!

In honor of longtime INNUA and NEARMUG leader Jeanne Gorski, The Gorski Memorial Award is given to one member at the NEARMUG Regional conference. Jeanne was one of the initial “founders” of this conference. In addition to being one of its primary advocates, she served on the Planning Committee for years helping to make the conference a unique educational opportunity highlighting telecom workshops and peer to peer networking opportunities.

This educational award, named in her honor, was established to provide one (1) end-user from the NEARMUG region with hotel accommodations and conference registration for the following year’s NEARMUG conference and to continue to foster her belief in the value of this regional conference.

Because Jeanne never missed a chance to mention NEARMUG, eligibility for this year’s award will be based on your ability to inform others and get them to register for the conference. Mention the conference to your peers and colleagues and tell them to make sure to put down YOU as the person who referred them.  At the bottom of the registration form will be an area stating “Who told you about this year’s conference?” The person who is the most referenced in this category will win Complementary Registration and Hotel Accommodations to Attend NEARMUG 2009!

To be eligible to win the Gorski Award, you:

• Must be a current INNUA member within the NEARMUG Region in good standing
• Will have your name referenced on our registration form more than any other to the question, “Who told you about this year’s conference?” Attendees you refer DO NOT need to be INNUA members to have their answer count.

That’s it! So start acting like Jeanne and tell other IT Professionals (don’t forget about your own company) about the value of NEARMUG and ensure your place at NEARMUG 2009!

The winner of the award will be notified either at the conference or within 45 days after the conference by the NEARMUG INNUA Trustee. All decisions by the Conference Committee are final and are not subject to review. We encourage all end users of the NEARMUG Region to participate in this opportunity.

NEARMUG reserves the right to award a prize of equal value (cost of NEARMUG registration plus associated hotel accommodation costs in area of conference location) toward the costs to attend Global Connect 09 should the NEARMUG 2009 Conference not be held. Prize is only redeemable to attend the conference and has a cash value of $.01 if winner wishes to redeem the prize in cash.
